My name is Marc Allen, and I’ve been tattooing in Chicago, Illinois for over 16 years. I started tattooing at just 15 years old, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered my passion and purpose so early in life.
Over the years, my work has evolved and today I focus primarily on black and gray realism. I’m passionate about creating detailed, meaningful tattoos that stand the test of time. While realism is a big part of my work, I also enjoy taking on a wide range of styles—from portraits and lettering to custom pieces and everything in between.
For me, tattooing is more than just putting ink on skin. Every piece I create is something I take pride in, and I work closely with each client to bring their vision to life. Just as important as the tattoo itself is the experience. I want every person who sits in my chair to leave not only with a tattoo they love, but with a great experience they’ll remember.
